Alan Bernard’s romance with photography commenced in 1985, at the age of 17, following the purchase of his first camera - a 2nd hand Olympus SLR. At the age of 20 he covered his first wedding event hoping and praying he hadn’t made any mistakes. Had the film advanced?, Was the exposure correct?, Color casts? He gave a huge sigh of relief when the prints came back from the developers...phew...you do not have that stress with the DSLR’s of today!! In his early 20’s he continued the rapid learning process specializing in B&W photography, developing his own film, as well as printing enlargements. Today, 24 years later, his passion is “capturing the moments” of Sports, Events, and People using Nikon, Canon & Profoto equipment.
